Find your reason.....

I want you to ask yourself a few important questions...

Why do you want to be healthy?

Why do you work out?

Why do you want to lose weight?

Why do you want to get in shape?
 

Is it because you want to feel good about yourself and have more confidence?

Is it because you want to look more attractive to the opposite sex?

Is it because your worried about your health?

Is it because Linda at work lost a load of weight and you feel like you need to do the same?

Or are you not sure why?

While your thinking about that I'll quickly tell you my reasons....

First and foremost I do it because I enjoy it.
I enjoy the feeling of living a healthy lifestyle.
I love feeling fit and strong in the gym.
I like feeling fresh, well nourished, energised and alive.

I also do it because I want to grow older hopefully without any health problems. 

Most important to me though is I want to watch my daughter grow up. I want to set the example to her. I want to be around for the day I get to walk her down the isle. (Not too soon though!)

I basically want to give myself every opportunity to live a long and healthy life without worrying what the side effects of my lifestyle are doing to my body.

Now back to you....

Whatever reasons you have for embarking on a healthy lifestyle, it doesn't matter what they are, you should be proud of. 

What I'm getting at here is I believe everyone needs to find there own personal reasons for wanting to lead a healthier life. And you need to keep those reasons or goals in the forefront of your mind if you ever feel yourself slipping back to your old bad habits of bad diet choices or sedentary ways of life.

No one is a saint 100% of the time, I know I have my bad days. And 1 bad day here or there is not going to ruin your chances of achieving your goals.

But always remember your reasons for starting your journey to a healthier you.

They are a much better option than the alternative.
